Preview launches new website
We are pleased announce the launch of Preview’s new website which we have been working on with Clickfire, a specialist web design agency, over the past few months. Our goal in creating the revamped website has been to ensure that all the information we have is presented in a way which allows it to be as accessible and clearly displayed as possible.
Since we first launched our previous website, the range of the services we provide as well as the facilities and capacity that we are able to offer our clients has expanded dramatically. Likewise, the range and breadth of industries that are benefiting from having their documents digitised is expanding almost on a daily basis – we hope that the new website better reflects our current situation and that it will also give us the ability to develop it further in the future.
So, please take a moment to look around the website and we would of course also welcome your comments and feedback.
Melton far from meltdown after fire

When disaster strikes an organisation, the key focus is to get it back on its feet as quickly and smoothly as possible. Such was the challenge that faced Melton Borough Council after a fire destroyed most of the Council’s working office space at their headquarters in May 2008. Thus began the UK’s largest public sector disaster recovery exercise in over 60 years.
As the fire destroyed all the Council’s communications technology, coordinating efforts to maintain the Council’s core essential functions was severely hampered. Fortunately a wing containing vital documents was left intact and, to make them available to remote workers in a coordinated workflow, it was essential that they were digitised as quickly as possible.

Open Days at Preview
We have run a number of Open Days at Preview over the course of the summer that have proved to be extremely popular and well received, we are glad to report. There were a large number of visitors over the 3 days who came to see the new facilities, meet our staff and gain more of an insight into what goes on behind the scenes when it comes to the work that we carry out on a day to day basis.
There were also many comments covering all aspects of what was discussed. People commented on the impressive nature of the new facilities and said that they were pleased to be able to put faces to the names they had spoken to on the phone. It seems that having the opportunity to talk to other companies who attended and see how they were using scanning and online storage also proved helpful to many.
We’d like to thank all of the people who came along and for the feedback they gave which, as always, proved to be hugely valuable. Given their success, we will be looking to run another series of Open Days and will keep you informed of dates both directly and here in future newsletters.

As part of this programme, customers can earn points with each bet they place that, in turn, can then be redeemed for free bets or bonus vouchers. Central to the smooth running of the programme is ensuring that the information held on their customers is accurate and up to date.
The Odds On! Reward Card can be obtained from any of Ladbrokes’ 2100 betting shops throughout the UK simply by completing a registration form, with the customers’ details being entered directly into a central system by staff in each shop.
